Specimens for 4/5/1882 indicate he was in Herefordshire
eg

so Dorstone would seem possible, also near the Golden Well (spring)

Abbreviation on label is 'Herefordshire District 13' ie in the Golden Valley, an area of many Ley collections.

Yes I agree you did - I edited the site in (because this hadn't still been done) - and then as an afterthought just added my note intending it as a confirmation (superfluous admittedly) of yours
