N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Any suggestions for 'Minch an Lochan' or similar - this is Duthie's only Perthshire specimen. Also the illegible date?? at bottom right

Is the second letter of "Minch" a 't' ?

Close inspection of the label between 'alba' and 'Linn.' reveals '.W .W' suggesting that on the reverse it says 'Herb. W. W. Newbold'!

Yes, 'Minch' was AL's original suggestion, I read it as perhaps Stirch or Stuich. The ghostly name could also be William Wilson; but pessimistically I suspect it could be irrelevant
