N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This 'W Scott' must differ from the collector of the same name who has sheets from Shetland 1975-1994, whom I suspect to be Walter Scott, currently VC112 recorder, id 13335. I will transfer the C20 records to the latter - the 'Walter Scott' in the pick-list without "(-1840)".

In 1836 Mr Walter Scott contributed to the herbarium of the Bptanical Society of Edinburgh (Proceedings).
