R H C may be Royal Hospital Chelsea at gr TQ2878 .....

There aren't any other de Vesian collections from Middlesex, so at the moment R H C = Chelsea seems a bit speculative to me.

Isn't "RHC, grounds" likely to refer to some feature of the Ladies' College, Cheltenham, where Miss de Vesian spent her professional life? Unfortunately, Flora of Gloucestershire sheds no light on the subject.
