Second collector probably W H Purchas.

In this part of the Wye Valley atypical forms of E. helleborine are sometimes mistakenly determined as E. atrorubens - see, e.g., Phytologist (1850) p.856 concerning a putative E. atrorubens on the Little Doward (is Ley referring to this plant?)
