N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Thanks! I'm over-cautiously holding back from editing in, as he doesn't seem to have any other specimens from the county.

Rev W S Hore ?
Born Plymouth, 1808. Interest in natural history developed whilst at Cambridge - acquaintance / friend of Babington, Darwin & Henslow. Held curacies in Saltash, Combe Martin Stoke Demerel & Norwich. Then at St Clements, Oxford and finally in Devon (Shebbear ?). Produced a list of Devon plants - published in The Phytologist. Discovered Listera cordata in N Devon, a good algologist. Final years in Barnstable.
