I read it as "Camb."

I know this is very unlikely, but could it be Cambria? H@H has 2other specimens from this time, both sedges, from Anglesey -

The similarity rather ends there, even to the extent that this sheet uses the names Schoenus and Scirpus. Possibly the year at the top of the latter is written similarly

I've now found a label looking more similar, 7/1798, from Eton

There are 2 other sheets same date, one labelled'Camb' and one 'Cambr' both Carex

The handwriting is the same as on sheets with the name of William Curtis,

though he likely didn't collect the specimens or anyway write the labels eg 'Curtis Garden'
