I sent an image of the label on this specimen to a Finnish colleague of mine and she tells me the place name is Muonio kyrkoby = Muonio Church Village, that is, the main village of Muonio community. Muonio is located at 67°57.5′N 023°41′E, which is in the north of the coutry, and has the longest snow season.

The collector is Justus Elias Montell (1869 - 1954) a Finnish biologist, born at Geta in a Swedish-speaking part of Finland. He was curator of biological collections at Åbo Akademi 1930-1954. Åbo is the Swedish name for Turku.
