N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The collector's name reads May Cheffins, I have found one very similar sheet with this name, http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/269582/ evidently some at least of the Cheffins family resided at Little Easton in Essex; and this sheet is uniform with many anonymous sheets from Huntingdon, Doncaster etc, see http://herbariaunited.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5627

Cheffins seems to be a family name in Herts, Essex & Suffolk.

The mid-nineteenth century firm of C F Cheffins & Sons published lithographs, often of botanical subjects; see http://collectionsonline.nmsi.ac.uk/detail.php?type=related&kv=46097&t=people and http://m.biblio.com/books/80653669.html

Examination of genealogical records may reveal a connection.
