N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

No Fernan to be found on R Tummel. There is a Fearnan on Loch Tay (NN74) but then no "shingle islands to to the west of it. Any thoughts?

Indeed, there seem to be at least two shingle islands in the Tummel, but I couldn't find any locale "Fernan" as a cross reference as per the label. No doubt, though, these must be the islands referred to...

Thanks!

A little distance away, there is Fearnan, which is mentioned in various C19th and early C20th botanical expeditions to the area (Ben Lawers etc)
