N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I have the impression there are several 'Hare Crags / Craigs' in Britain; one I've localised is SW of Coniston at SD275955 - however Gardiner has no specimens from VC 69 Westmoreland

William Gardner lived and worked in Dundee.

In his Flora of Forfarshire (1848) he says: "near Broughty Ferry a singular ridge of rocks called the Hare Craigs, present some plants peculiar to the mountain district".

Dundee Celebrities of the 19th Century (1873) in a biography of Gardiner says "The Den of Mains, Hare Craigs, Baldovan Woods, and Will's Braes were often visited in the early summer mornings, or after the work of the day was over, in search of wild flowers."

Best location information relates to a private level crossing at Harecraig OS NO450311, so I'd suggest a 1km square reference of NO4531:

OS Grid reference NO4531

That seems extremely convincing (though the grid ref for your location is NO4627)

The grid reference you quote, NO4627, is on the wrong side of the Tay and in another vice-county!
