N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Far from confident either collector is correct though specimen at http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/355545/?image has similar script and sherrin's name typed - Any better candidates....

The initials are M D or J H P or J H T of Dulwich College. Much recent discussion on message board as there is a possibility of J H Peall or J H Teall - they both did exist! No doubt this will be clarified in time.

The Jones of Harlech is usually D A Jones so surprising that this is D E.

Don't think it's Sherrin.

"Pensarn, N. Wales" in the present context is obviously Pensarn SH5727
near Harlech (not Pensarn, a farmhouse miles from the sea in west Wales!)

This is certainly Pensarn, Merioneth - a classic location for J. maritimus and Daniel Angell Jones' home 'patch'. Very Happy
