N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Site read as Aberdour, but more than 1 in Scotland. Several different Trails on system as collectors

Only one Trail [sic] JWH Trail -https://www.abdn.ac.uk/museums/connecting_collections/Trail.shtml (and those named Traill all died before 1900).

Label in F Townsend's h/w; spmn det Townsend; but note that "Records of E. brevipila refer to E. arctica ssp borealis (F Towns.) Yeo" (Stace 3).

"Northfield in South of Aberdour parish" is at NJ868596 (VC 93, North Aberdeen) and now the site of a Farm Museum.
