M. rubra, Sm Porkellis Moor, Wendron, W. Corn
wall, v.c.1, Sept. 9, 1907. Not mentioned in the
desiderata list, but sent because formaerly it was reckoned
among the rarest of Cornish plants. When I published
my Tentative List of the plants of this county (1902) only
one locality was known for this mint. On Porkellis Moor
it is most abundent, and unquestionably native. Mr. C. E.
Salamon thinks the plants very typical.- F.H. Davey.
