Collected by: (see note )
Collection date:29/6/1888
Locality:Great Britain, Perthshire, see note
Institution:Perth Museum and Art Gallery (PTH)
Accession number:PTH.1999.420.10768
notes:A large label with these specimens (written by Barclay ?) gives
collector as Dr FB White with no locality, but a small one
written by White himself seems to say 'Marshall 29.6.1888'.
There are other specimens in the herbarium collected by Rev
Marshall at Beinn Dubhcraig (NN3025) on this date, so these may
have the same origin. Furthermore, other herbarium specimens
show that Dr White was far from any place where Carex vaginata
(one of these specimens) would be found.
