notes:white mounting strips; 'Orobanche major' is also synonymous with
Orobanche elatior, but in British 19th century floras that
species is distinguished from O. major, suggesting that the
species in question is O. rapum-genistae; the are no records of
it north of Edinburgh in the 'New Atlas of the British and Irish
Flora'
