ocrnotes:S. viminalis, L., var. intricata, Leefe. Wet hedge, Sellack, Herefordshire, 15th April and 22nd June, 1887 j and river bank, Wilton, Herefordshire, 2nd April, and 5th July, 1887.--Augustin Ley. "These specimens (but especially that from Wilton) are, I dare say. Leefe's var. intricata ; but that, at the best, is a very slight modification of viminalis, and not worth distinguishing. Is the smaller leaf specimen from Wilton taken from the same plant as the larger ? "-- F. Buchanan White.
