Hybrid Violets are not always sterile, I should call this an intermediate or hybrid of V. silvestris x riviniana E.S.G.

notes:Petals long and narrow Veins reaching edge, spur white, grooved, with retrorse point upper leaves prolonged, sub-acute seed well formed.
Volia not a hybrid: cf. the well-formed seed pods.
