notes:In the wild site were thousands of thickly massed plants, but not 1% produced a flower. Some years ago the landowner sent bulbs to the RHS. Sweet scented. Of the bulbs transplanted to my garden only a few have flowered, so it has taken some years to produce these few specimens.
