notes:Coarse shaggy form. Is M.aquatica L. var. acuta Briq. The variety is widely distributed and very variable in the amount of hairiness. it grows 2-and-a-half to 6 feet high. leaves ovate, more or less acute and the principal ones slightly cuneate at base, never cordate - J Fraser. M aquatica f. hirsuta - A Bennett. M. aquatica L. (var hirsuta (Huds) Huds) Determinatvit: M.J.Graham 26/10/1954
