Locality:Cultivated Florida (USA), Liberty County, (30° 45′ 24.84″ N 84° 56′ 51.00″ W), Six individuals along State Rd. 12 in a cut-over secondary sandhill forest/woods. The plants were in the first non-mowed line of trees, some but not all visible from the road. Associates: Berlandiera pumila, Chrysopsis sp., Licania michauxii, Cnidoscolus
