Biography

Born 9th June 1922 in Balham, London.
1942 joined London Natural History Society.
1943 developed an interest in grasses encouraged by CE Hubbard.
1947 joined BSBI.
1953-1957 editor of The London Naturalist.
2005 wrote The Flora of Walls and Buildings of the Isle of Ely.
Died 2nd Dec 2010 at Westcliff-on-Sea. See BSBI Obituary.
