1851 student at St John's College, Cambridge 1855 married Sarah Ketley Turner in Birmingham

1861 second master in the Classics dept and Clerk in Holy Orders at King Edward School. Living at New St, with wife, Sarah, son Henry (b 1856 Chester), James Rowland (1856 Chester), Christopher B (1860 Birmingham) and dau Marian (1858 Chester).

1871 Hillmorton Road, Rugby. Asst master at Rugby School. Children, Gertrude (born 1863 Rugby) & Gerald (b 1867 Rugby). 1881 Still at Hillmorton Rd Rugby. Described as "MA Cambridge, Clergyman without cure of souls"

1891 Thomas was vicar at Broad Chalke in Wiltshire. Died aged 72 in 1899. Death registered in Salisbury district.
