Handwriting samples wanted

Herbarium@home is trying to compile samples of herbarium label handwriting for as many deceased British botanists as possible.

This page provides a simple way to find the collectors for whom we currently have no handwriting samples. From here you can easily look up individual sheet images which are a possible source of usable handwriting. Having found a suitable example of writing you can use an online crop tool to select the area of the image to use, and attach it to a collector.
