Herbarium specimen: Rubus hirtus

Taxon:Rosaceae: Rubus hirtus Waldst. & Kit.
uncertain identification by William Moyle Rogers

Placed under R. hirtus, I think by Dr Focke, and I am not prepared to question that determination (or suggestion?); but it is, of course, very strongly armed even for the stronger forms of that most variable species, while in some particulars it recalls our R. cognatus and forms of R. hystrix.
