notes: | No in 11th Edit Lond Cat 2145 One of several gathered by H.S.T. [and sent to W.B.E.C.] who first pointed out the plant at Trelleck bog to J.E.L. 21/7/1933. I agree now [31/1/1934] with J.E.L. and Wallace that these are flexuose as I had thought on getting home in July- until I [received] larger spec[imen] from J.E.L. named setacea HST. On re-examine by J.E.L. [at ECW's suggestion] he fears this must go to flexuosa on acc[ount] of the ligule character. Jan 31 1934. I now agree [and] also because of v[ery] slight difference in the fl[owers] and the less dense panicle. HST |
