| notes: | I have no definite prof that leaves and Samara are from the same tree. Samara here makes a step towards the campetrous series in having a distinct open notches ?; but the seed cavity is below the middle, and the notch does not reach more then 1/5 way to the cavity. Samara very round and then in Montana [sic], but not quite as rounded? as in vegate? notch acutely rounded at base. |
