notes:Kew Accession Number: 2006-1611. Plant woody and wooly hairy with dense mulitcellular brabched [branched] hairs. Flowers in two whorls of 5-10 flowers. Bracteoles stiff wooly to 3 millimeters broad and 12 millimeters long, acuminate, imbricate and appressed to the flowers. Flowers sessile, Calyx with 5 teeth. Corolla purple, upper lip, hooded, lower lip 3 lobed and white. Corolla tube with 2 spurs at base of the filaments inside. Nutlets glandular hairy at the top.
