Image:Salix repens var. argentea herbarium specimen from Rosehearty, VC93 North Aberdeenshire in 1928 by A P Fraser.
notes:The above is a maritime form of the species collected by A. P. Fraser, a relative of mine, from an isolated and uniform colony which I marked on September 20, 1927, when collecting there. The forms incubacea (L.) and fusea (L.) also grow there. The former mostly maritime, the latter mostly inland.-J. Fraser.
