| notes: | Ex Abbotsbury (ABBOTSBURY SUBTROPICAL GARDENS Buller’s Way, Abbotsbury, Nr Weymouth, Dorset, DT3 4LA) 1991. Came in as L. angustifolia 'Alba'. Much more untidy in habit than SA1764 and greener foliage. Leave very broad and dark green at base. Pedincles dark green centre and paler margins; small pedicles near top & middle plus lower down. Spikes denser, less elegant than SA1764. Calyx single green. Bracts very dark brown. In bud only. Not nearly as arom,atic as SA1764. Seed (?) packet attached. |
