Collected by: | Mr James Ward |
Collection date: | 25/3/1842 catkins 2/6/1842 leaves |
Locality: | Great Britain, VC65 North-west Yorkshire, Richmond, NZ10 |
communicated: | Chenevix-Trench |
Institution: | Manchester Museum (MANCH) |

fruits/flowers: | no flowers |
notes: | Stigmas cloven. Mr Borrer remarks on this, that it is very near to S. Smithiana. I had thought it a form of S. holosericea Br. Fl. as the stipules though variable (which the specimens communicated to mr Borrer were insufficient to shew in this and in No. 28) are generally much broader than in No. 25 |
Inferred details are marked.
