Two further handwritten notes in pencil, ' Sept 1933 I believe this is V. agrestis because of the blunt [obtuse] rather narrow oblong sepals, For the' rest to faint to read.
There is a further note undated referring to V. opaca not yet found in Britain, difficult to read but seems to compare seed capsules and sinus to V. agrestis.
A further note' V.agrestis I think' H.L.P.? could be Louis Wellesley Hemington Pegler
