| notes: | Growing with Bromus madrifensis, Allium oleraceum, etc. Some dozens of spikes in the clump. Some of the leaves 12" to 13" long Dr Stapf write from Kew Dec[ember] 3rd 1920 in regard t some of this gathering sent him:- "This corresponds to what we have as K britannica Domm as written up by authors. True the leaves are some what long [and] the spikelets to glabrous, but Domm admits a form with glabrous spiklets, [and] the leaves vary to some extent in lenght. I should hardly think it is a distinct sp[ecies]. They seem to be rather topical variations. |
