notes: | This interesting colony was seen at Tuddenham W. Suffolk growing in a marshy meadow on the edge of a wood (no signs of oxlips in wood) & they were all hybrids and cross hybrids with P. veris. Melville (Kew) who was with us agrees. The locality is an outlying island away from the main boulder clay. Leaves nearer P. veris, calyx tips less elongated. |
