I'm sorry that the website has been off-line for the past week. I was away on holiday, and although I hoped that I had sufficient fail-safe mechanisms in place to keep the system running, an unexpected hardware fault caused the website to become inaccessible.

I'm making plans to try to improve the reliability of the system, so that hopefully this won't be repeated.

Thank you to everyone who emailed me, to express concern about what had happened to the website.
