After a long break back again and straight away met a nonstandard date(s) (Assuming one is a catalogue number) - on a Townsend Herb Sheet: "48107" and "68-6-1" ;

I can't trace my notes but recall someone had a system with last 2 of year, then month then day so for the 48107 = 7th Oct 1848 but as so obvious, suspect it might have been year, day, month so = 10th Jul 1848.... Both would be feasible for a teasel head with virtually no other info on where , by who collected :- Grateful if someone can remind me of the non standard / not obvious dates that have cropped up so far with who used them so can compare scripts.

Many thanks: Mike d'A

Today 8th Nov 2112 would be 12118 - year, month, day. There's an example on the meiosis website here for Joseph Woods.
