Recently, when I attempt to use Google/Ordnance Survey/Multimap to check a place name, I no longer get a full screen page, as previously, but a very reduced one, with the full-page button inoperative.

Hi John,

Thanks for posting about this. How long ago did you first have a problem (there was an update to the herb@home page yesterday, but I didn't think it would have changed window opening behaviour). There was a change made in the last couple of months to cause google etc. windows to open with full address and toolbar parts (previously they lacked most of the navigation toolbar parts) - has that caused a problem for you?

Are the new windows resizeable using the bottom right-hand corner (assuming you are using Windows)? In firefox on windows I am observing the same phenomenon, but because I tend to resize windows using the dragable corner I'd not thought of it as being a problem - but my setup and preferences may be different from yours.

Ideally how would you like newly opened windows to behave?

What web browser version are you using?

Would it be possible for you to email me a full screen snapshot?

regards,

Tom

Dear Tom,
The problem started some time during the last three or four days. I use Mozilla Firefox/Windows, but didn't know about the bottom right hand corner! I've now used it and all is well, again.
Many thanks for your help. Laughing
John.
