N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

worth a rescan? is there anything on the paper fold (the other side?) This is the second example i've recently seen presented like this. Is there any general information on this presentation style or the "collector" responsible?

The top-right writing is 'Carum carvi', top-left is 'Common Caraway' (with 'Common Corriander' crossed out).

Probably there was nothing on the outside of the folder (as in general I've aimed to photograph any relevant external labels separately - but I'll add this sheet to a list of those to be rephotographed should the opportunity arise.)

Hopefully someone may eventually recognize the collector - there are many sheets in this format.

regards,

Tom

style of sheet is uniform with other ABS sheets from Hitchin collected this year, eg: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/271835/
and with those referred to in your message: http://herbariaunited.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1001
although the wide geographic spread of some similar sheets is making me wonder whether the similarities suggest a common ABS curator rather than collector, in at least some cases

From examination of numerous similar sheets, the collector is initialled 'F' at bottom left
