N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

i feel the collector/ex herb is probably in there...
is there anyway to view a negative impression of the sheets?

Following your suggestion I've tried increasing contrast and viewing a mirror image of the sheet to read the writing from the obverse, but without any success.

There isn't currently any way to do this type of manipulation online, but if you have graphics software and want to try this then you can download the sheet images either by right-clicking on the image thumbnail on the specimen page (or the thumbnail at the head of this post) or by following the link near the bottom of the doc form (labeled with the sheet id)

in this case Sheet ABS.200705141613_8062 (Aberystwyth University Herbarium)

regards,

Tom

This sheet seems the twin of http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/261405/ collected by 'R', and uniform with the ABS collections of 'R' from Middx - who I conjecture could conceivably be Rose Fryer - see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/236038/
