N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

no date, and the collectors name may be wrong

I think this is from LEWES the place, not the collector. No collector named. You should record the Herbarium (F Townsend) which has handled it in the past.

This appears to be a collection of Joseph Woods who collected in Lewes and had an idiosyncratic way of recording the date. This one looks like 51/6/25
(his numbers seems to mean YYM(M)DD)

You can find out more about each sheet by doing a search e.g. for the date and any details on the labels and comparing them. For this sheet I searched for F Townsend andLewesand found another 5 similar sheets.

There is an explanation of all this on the message board at http://herbariaunited.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6034
