I have assumed that the initials WNT refer to Wiliam N Tetley, as the dates etc fit.
I should copy the handwriting as an exemplar but can't find out how.

To copy handwriting samples, you need to go to the specimen info page for the specimen and follow the link 'Please help by cropping a sample from this sheet.'.

(in this case go to Specimen #315319 and follow the crop sample link, but more generally you can track down sheets either by searching by collector or by viewing sheets you've edited recently.)
