Specimen #323325

Taxon:Cerastium semidecandrum var. glandulosum
Filed in taxon folder:Caryophyllaceae: Cerastium pumilum Curtis ("Dwarf Mouse-ear")
Collected by:Randolph William Robbins
Collection date:10/5/1935
Locality:Great Britain, VC12 North Hampshire, Basing, SU65, Wall at Old Basing
Institution:South London Botanical Institute (SLBI)
fruits/flowers:mature flowers
notes:There seems very little between these species. Pumilum is rather more slender, and the bracts have a narrow scarious margin only. I cannot see anything in the shape of the basal leaves, the sepals, or the capcule, and they are equally glandular.

Inferred details are marked.

N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.
