Rupert Huter (26/9/1834-11/2/1919)



Austrian priest, curate and botanist. He bequeathed his herbarium to the Vinzentinum in Brixen (Italian Bressanone).

Collected with Petri Porta and Giorgio Rigo.

Born 26 September 1834 in Kals (am GroƟglockner) in East Tyrol, Austria.
Collected in the alps and southern Europe.
Died 11 February 1919 in Ried bei Sterzing (now Vipiteno in Italy) .
