N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This page contains a Photograph with a copyright indication.
it is not clear at which date the photgraph was taken.
if the photgraph is from 1851.. its possible that it is of historic significance.
How should photographs or drawings be treated?

Thanks for posting about this.

There is a Robert Moyes Adam (1885-1967) listed in Kent & Allen. Part of his photographic archive, including this photo is held at St Andrews.

I've updated the date to reflect the information from the archive.

Where as in this case a photograph or drawing has locality information it's worth recording as a 'specimen' with additional info in the notes field, as you have done.

regards,

Tom.
