N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Sorry to have been so slow to reply.
Welcome to herb@home!

There's probably no need to textually record the state of specimen (petals etc.) as hopefully the image will remain associated with the text record.

It may be worth noting W H Painter in the 'herbarium' field - which is used very loosely to include any people or institutions who have had the sheet in their collection. (the exception to this is that UCW = University College Wales, a reference to Aberystwyth Univeristy, as the sheet is already tagged with this there's no need to record that separately)

regards,

Tom
