Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- This was somehow edited as 'Denwick, Northumberland' but to me reads like Derwick - non-existent - or even Berwick. Denwick is NE of Alnwick at NU2014. It also exists on Orkney at the eastmost point from Kirkwall, at HY5708; but nothing resembling ?'Lingee loch' the other name on the label is found here. I eventually tired of searching for specimens of any of the 'Tempere' names in either county. However I then hit on http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/238946/ which shows the site to be in Berwick(shire?) at Lurgie Loch or similar - a site name which I located as the now coniferised rough ground at NT675394, just west of our old friend Stichill. The other specimen, also a Salix, was collected by A Brotherston 2 years later, similarly labelled ex herb Tempere
