N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Specimen of 21/8/1877 - Ley collected from Rame Head and Whitesand Bay on that date, is it just possible that 'West Head, Treventin[??] Station, East Cornwall' refers to a coastguard station?

Slightly tangential but ...

Treven (Tin) Mine, St Erth

A tin, copper and lead mine, worked from 1844 to 1873. Some waste tips are located near Treven Farm, about 2.5 km SE of St Erth.Ref.: B. Atkinson: Mining Sites in Cornwall, Vol. 2, Dyllansow Truran (1994)
