N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Collector edited as 'M J Taraphor' = M S Farraghar or similar?

Could this date be 1968? Then a good candidate for collector would be 'M[ark] A Farragher' author of 'Plant Material of Agricultural Importance in Temperate Climates' (1996) Dept. Agricultural Botany, University College Dublin Press, and 'Poaceae: Irish Members. Morphology and ecological notes, Part 4' Royal Dublin Society, 1975, etc.

Interesting. David Price thinks Miriam Farquharson, nee Ridley, naturalist and Women's Rights activist (early female member of Linnaean Soc?) Having enlarged the photo as much as I could, I think you are right; a clearer shot of the '8/9' would settle it

I now read "Farragher". I cannot make the date into 1968, nor can I find any comparable labels but I readily concede the collector was not Mrs Farquharson.

I think that's 1968, and would also presumably suit Farragher, being a birdseed / agricultural grass
