Ah! Perhaps too much haste. There is a far more likely Georg Gustav Detharding, 1765-1838 in the Harvard University Herbarium database. Clever family!

Yes it must have been Georg Gustav as he wrote about it in Latin in "Conspectus plantarum magniducatuum Megalopolitanorum phanerogamarum": "ad littora maris Balthici prope Warnemünde copiose", which is more or less what he said before in German I think! Very Happy
