Documented by dawn nelson on 1st December 2013. Checked by xmhcman Edit historyDocumented by dawn nelson on 1st December 2013. Checked by xmhcman Edit historyN.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names. Log-in to edit this sheet.

2: German 'Meklenburg, On the shore of the Baltic Sea near Warnemünde' -
so Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (German 'Land'). |

"Curriculum vitae of the professor of anatomy, botany and higher mathematics Georg Detharding (1671-1747) at the University of Rostock" (Anatomischer Anzeiger 1977;142(1-2):133-40 - says PubMed) |

Ah! Perhaps too much haste. There is a far more likely Georg Gustav Detharding, 1765-1838 in the Harvard University Herbarium database. Clever family! |
